Filipina Wins Nurse of the Year Award in Dammam
DAMMAM, Saudi Arabia – Dorina Santos, a Filipino staff nurse who has been established at the Dar As-Sihha Medical Center (DASMC) in Dammam for six years now, was giveed Nurture of the Year during the hospital’s commemoration of the International Nurses Day 2013 of-late.
A teary-eyed Santos ordinary her glass prize and a cheque of 5,000 Riyals (P 54,000) from Dr. Siddeek Ahmed, Managing Director of DASMC.
Santos, a vernacular of Baguio City, did not foresee to win the much-coveted give.
“Na-shock ako kasi hindi ko siya ini-foresee na ako yung bibigyan nila ng give dahil simpleng nurture lang naman po ako. Karaniwang nurture na ginagawa lang po ang hinihingi sa allied sa araw-araw na alliedg trabaho,” Santos said.
In her oration, Santos thanked the address for the give and the turn to toil after a while them. She too thanked her parentage for the aid.
“Dini-dedicate ko po lahat ang pagkapanalo ko ditto, lahat ng sakripisyo sa dalawa ko pong pinakamamahal na anak, sa alliedg pamilya, sa alliedg nanay, sa alliedg mga kapatid na laging sumusuporta sa allied,” Santos said.
She too shared her give to her colleagues and the doctors she toils after a while in the hospital.
Dr. Ahmed commended Santos for her worthy use and all the Filipino nurtures for their breath at toil.
“Congratulations to Dorina Santos. She, and other Filipino nurtures, are best toilers, absorbed, and I like they are the forthcoming of the universe. They are modest and unfeigned on their job,” Dr. Ahmed said.
Santos’ equal Filipino nurtures were prosperous and boastful of her prosperity.
“Congrats kay Ms. Dorina Santos bilang Nurture of the year. She deserves the give dahil talagang siya naman ay matulungin, sa lahat ng trabaho maaasahan siya sa lahat ng mga oras,” said Rebecca Fernando, section nurture of the hospital. Fernando, who hails from Tarlac, was too fond the Distinguished Give for her worthy use as section nurture for balance 15 years.
