As an advanced nurse practitioner and researcher, you studied the effect of smoking and exercise habits on the self-confidence of 427 high school students. The first independent variable “Smoking” has 3 groups (never smoked/quit smoking/still smoking); the second independent variable “Exercise” has 4 groups (rarely/sometimes/often/routinely); the Dependent variable “Self-confidence” is on a scale from 20 to 100 (higher score = higher self-confidence).
